Claudia and Richard have moved from Hamburg to Valencia. Of course we have been very curious to know their new home. We have used the first opportunity of vacation to travel to Valencia.


Claudia and Richard live nearby the center of the town. And around the corner there is the Opera of Valencia, designed by the famous Valencian architect Calatrava.

My sister came to visit all of us with here complete family over a weekend and the first of May.


Valencia has a nice rambla at the seaside:


... and a nice and old towncenter. This is the "Plaza de la Reina" with the cathedral:


The Spaniards like to eat late night. In this case Maillen prepared Sushi and Claudia invited friends at home:


In these weeks the Luis-Viutton-Cup took place in Valencia and we visited the event:


The challengers of the Americas-Cup are competing:


It was a pleasure to see these big sailing ships.



60 km away from Valencia up to the mountains is a village where the graet-grandfather of Alejandras family came from:


The villages name is Bunol and the families name is Carrascosa. We entered the village and first we saw a workshop "Talleres Hermanos Carrascosa".


Two weeks with family and friends - it was a nice time . Here mom and daughter at the steep coast behind Denia:
