Vacation in Valencia April 23 to May 7th

Claudia and Richard have moved from Hamburg to Valencia. Of course we have been very curious to know their new home. We have used the first opportunity of vacation to travel to Valencia.
Claudia and Richard live nearby the center of the town. And around the corner there is the Opera of Valencia, designed by the famous Valencian architect Calatrava.
My sister came to visit all of us with here complete family over a weekend and the first of May.
Valencia has a nice rambla at the seaside:
... and a nice and old towncenter. This is the "Plaza de la Reina" with the cathedral:
The Spaniards like to eat late night. In this case Maillen prepared Sushi and Claudia invited friends at home:
In these weeks the Luis-Viutton-Cup took place in Valencia and we visited the event:
The challengers of the Americas-Cup are competing:
It was a pleasure to see these big sailing ships.
60 km away from Valencia up to the mountains is a village where the graet-grandfather of Alejandras family came from:
The villages name is Bunol and the families name is Carrascosa. We entered the village and first we saw a workshop "Talleres Hermanos Carrascosa".
Two weeks with family and friends - it was a nice time . Here mom and daughter at the steep coast behind Denia:
And both again at the laguna Albufera nearby Valencia:

Que lindo sentimiento
Me alegro muchísimo de verlos a todos disfrutando.
Desde Hamburgo, detrás de la pantalla me da la sensación de vivenciar esos momentos juntos en la playa y comiendo el sushi de Maillen.
Muy lindas las fotos y gracias por compartir tan lindos recuerdos con los que los extraña.

Por fin me conecto
Queridos Alejandra y Martin:
¡Ahora he conseguido hacerme un sitio en este blogg! ¡Con lo fácil que era! Es que no me había enterado muy bien del funcionamiento. Me alegra un montón veros a todos tan bien, después del gran salto a África y a Valencia. También es un placer ver de nuevo a Maillencita. Ayer fue la tertulia - ¡seguimos manteniéndola en pie las pocas que quedamos!- y Dorly, Hella y Rosa preguntaron por vosotras, Alejandra y Claudia. Mandan besos.
Os envío un beso muy fuerte desde Bahrenfeld de todos nosotros.
