Ale and the meeting of the Eastafrican German Church

From Wednesday 7th to Sunday 11th of March Alejandra had participated at the meeting of the German Church of Eastafrica. Friday afternoon, after work, I went with some people of the Austrian Embassy to visit Alejandra and all the group near Wolliso/Ghion. The meeting took place in the Nagesh Lodge, a nice place approx. 120 km from Addis Abeba. In the lodge one can rent different houses, this is e.g. a "Wolyata-House"
We slept in one of this little houses:
Saturday in the morning we left early to an excursion to the Wonchi Vulcano. It followed an ascent to 3400 meter. The view back:
And the view to the Crater of the Wonchi Vulcano:
Arrived below we have crossed the lake with a dugout canoe to an island in the middle of the crater lake:
On this island the participants of the church celebrate their evaluation workshop:
All the while I have held a noon nap with one of the babies.
On the way back we have passed by this beautiful valley:
I am walking, but Ale on a horse:
Perhaps the other paricipants will send us their fotos within some days. Then I could add further pictures.
